My Classic Fire acoustic guitar is only a refinished guitar.
I bought this classical acoustic guitar for $20 at a local flea market.
It had a ugly blue and white finish that was poorly done. The sound
quality was also lacking, and string action was uncomfortably high. I
choose to refinish it as practice knowing that if I messed up then I wasn't
loosing anything good.
After removing the finish, I painted in the red hotrod flames
with black base. The fingerboard was painted black with red rectangles
as the inlays, the 12th fret was painted all red. On the headstock is a
red maltese cross.
I put Ernie Ball Earthwood strings on the guitar. These
strings greatly improved the sound quality of the guitar. In the near
future I plan on altering the bridge to lower the action to make it a more
playable guitar.
